Woody Hayes is the most well known Ohio State coach behind Urban Meyer. Hayes coached several teams but from 1951-1978 he was at Ohio State. Hayes is a memorable coach with several quotes that apply to daily life. Woody Hayes is known how he ended his career; by punching a Clemson player in the Gator Bowl.
Why did we Choose
Ohio State Football?
We both grew up being Ohio State fans. Our families have always cheered for this team, it is almost like a tradition in a way. We have followed college football since we could understand what half of it meant. For us Ohio State Football is part of us, in our blood; our scarlet and gray blood. For this project we decided it would be fun to dive deeper into the history of Ohio State and find out how we got here today.
